Univex MG8912 Meat & Food Grinder

Designed for heavy duty use with a #12 head, the MG6912 does not bog down even on the toughest loads.  Driven by a 1 H.P. motor with a 1 inch wide poly "V" belt system for our MG8912 is a tough but quiet kitchen performer.  Standard equipment includes a #12 grinder attachment with 3/16" plate holes, large 12" x 20" stainless steel feed pan and poly stomper.  As with all Univex products, the MG8912 is engineered with maximum price/value for years of trouble free performance.  This unit is UL listed and NSF approved.

• MOTOR: 1 H.P., Capacitor start 1725 RPM, ball bearing motor on cushioned supports for reduction of both noise and vibration.
• DRIVE: 7:1 Reduction increases torque using a 10 ribbed Poly "V" belt. 250 RPM drive shaft supported by ball bearings in the P.T.O. Housing.
• DRIVE ASSEMBLY: Completely enclosed in an acrylic urethane silver enamel finished 10 gauge steel housing and a No. 4 finish 20 gauge stainless steel cover.
• SWITCH: Rocker type double pole on-off conveniently located for access from the front or left side. Has a removable operator key to prevent unauthorized operation.
• CIRCUIT BREAKER:
  115 volt, 13 Amp single pole action with manual reset overload switch.
  230 volt, 8 Amp double pole action with manual reset overload switch.
• MEAT GRINDER: Cast aluminum housing with No. 12 tapered hub. Housing is supported by and locked into the drive assembly P.T.O. housing by a thumb screw. Housing has internal spiral flutes which match tapered flutes in the tapered worm. Flutes are designed to shear and force the product into the hardened steel knife and through the sizing holes of the plate.
• FEED PAN: 8 1/2 quart (8 lter) capacity, 12" x 20" (305 x 508 millimeters) Stainless Steel.
• FEED STOMPER: High density polyethylene stomper designed for ease of handling and operator safety.
• CAPACITY: 8-12 pounds (4-5 kg) per minute on first grind using a plate with 3/16" (4 millimeter) holes.
